Aston Martin quietly released the first pictures of the DBS Ultimate – the swan song for the current generation DBS – on its website. We’re waiting for an official press release, but based on the initial info, the Ultimate is a more exquisite version of the Carbon edition, celebrating the car maker’s flagship model. It is available as both coupe and volante models, and feature special exterior and interior appointments.
On the outside, the DBS Ultimate Edition comes with carbon fibre wing mirrors, a dark front grille, smoked rear lamps and Zircotec coated tail pipes are complemented by yellow, red or black brake callipers. It all looks extra garnish to us, but hey, if a beautiful lady uses mascara she only gets more beautiful, right?
The Ultimate models also feature painted decklid rear with a choice of gloss or satin finish, unique badging, and unique number plate surround. They will be available i three colors; Carbon Black II, Quantum Silver or Silver Fox.
Inside you get diamond quilted stitched leather upholster, with either red or silver contrast thread, both on the leather seats and alcantara headlining. DBS Ultimate badge – with a red S – is also embroidered on the headrests. Another feature that seems minor but looks very cool is the red leather-trimmed gear paddles.
Engine-wise, the Ultimate must be the same as the normal DBS models with the 510 hp 6.0 liter V12, otherwise Aston would have said something. But it will be available with either a manual or automatic transmission.
