2014 Ford Fiesta Pictures (Spy Shots)
The 2014 Ford Fiesta has been spotted: and in these clear spy photos, there’s little surprise that the next Fiesta will carry on the Fusion’s swoopy grille.
Ford has only been selling the Fiesta in America for two years, but for the rest of the world the Fiesta’s an old fogey: the current one’s been around since 2008. We already know what the Fiesta ST looks like—the hot hatch was released at the Frankfurt Auto Show last year, and then in Los Angeles—so it’s little surprise that the regular sedan, five-door and three-door hatchbacks will feature the same curvaceous grille as the Fusion and Focus Electric.
The next Fiesta will get an additional trim level: Titanium, announced for 2013 models as well. IT might also get a three-cylinder engine as well, punched up with Ecoboost to mimic the power of a four-cylinder. Will Americans spring for a 1.0-liter triple, smaller than most motorcycle engines? Hey, it might make more sense in the Fiesta than in the larger Focus.
Expect the 2014 model year Fiesta to hit dealers at the end of next year, fittingly enough.
